I bought this set about nine years ago from my friend in Boerne. All pieces have the Dallas Furniture stamp.I have the table and eight chairs. Can you tell me the value and where I can find more chairs to add to my set?

You have a wonderful set made by W.R. Dallas Furniture. Your set appears to be made in the ’70s but could be earlier.
Your table came in three sizes — small, medium and large. The lazy Susan is an extra option for the larger tables. Your Longhorn chairs are highly collectible and impossible to find on the open market.
In 1929 W.R. Dallas Furniture Studio was established in San Antonio by Wylie R. Dallas, His designs are patented originals, registered under the trade name Spoke-Leg Furniture. To this date the furniture is constructed of ponderosa pine, keyed and pegged for natural expansion and contraction. Each piece is tung-oiled with a wax finish.
Vogt’s Auction Galleries in San Antonio recently sold a few pieces of W. R. Dallas Furniture that exceeded the auction estimates and set new auction records for the furniture. The furniture is highly collectible throughout the United States and sells best here in Texas.
