ENTER THE HOLIDAYS

Throughout 78209, homes have already dressed for their holiday best. “I think the entrance of your home sets the tone of the home,” said Cheri Stith, interior decorator and owner of Feather, Fluff, and Flings. “You want it to be warm and welcoming. It is so much fun to change decorations with the different seasons and embrace the time of year. It makes home special.” Stith and her partner, Jamie Weyand, meet with each homeowner to hear their vision for the front gates and porches. She said, “We want the décor to reflect their own creativity and warmth.”
Some homeowners begin autumn decorations as early as September, and keep them up until the end of Thanksgiving weekend. There are also some who will desire Christmas décor at the beginning of November, so that it may be enjoyed longer. They are often the ones who love the Christmas holiday the most and want to relish the decorations as long as possible.
