The Alamo Heights HS Rocketry team successfully launched their rocket at White Sands Missile Range in June. The rocket reached 23,000 feet!
The AHHS team is in elite company- only 3 of 8 schools made it to White Sands this year. Only 2 of those teams achieved successful launches.
Students named this year’s rocket “The Godfather.” The finished sleek design represents thousands of hours of work designing, building and problem-solving with this talented group, all of them now AHHS graduates.
