Incarnate Word High School Names Dr. Sylvia Reyna as Full-Time President
Incarnate Word High School (IWHS) Board of Directors, with the support of the Board of the Incarnate Word Ministries, and the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Sylvia Reyna, class of 1974, as the school’s new full-time President. This historic decision makes Dr. Reyna the first alumna to officially lead her alma mater, known as the home of the Shamrocks.
Dr. Reyna brings a distinguished career in educational leadership, a lifelong commitment to student empowerment, and a personal connection to Incarnate Word High School, making her uniquely qualified to guide the school’s next generation of young women. In her three months as interim president, Dr. Reyna has already made notable strides in enhancing the high school experience, driven by her dedication to academic excellence, student development, and the values rooted in the school’s history.
