Balloon Fun and Artistry Opens in 78209

Alamo Balloons recently opened its new location at 5216 Broadway St., in Acadia Place. The store formerly housed the old vitamin store.

Michelle Rowe, the shop owner, is a former Air Force flight nurse. She retired in 2015.

What is it about balloons that attracted Michelle’s interest? She told me, “As a kid, I loved balloons. And while in the Air Force, I literally traveled the world and saw how popular balloons are in many parts of South and Central America and Mexico, too. The beauty of balloons is the immediate gratification we get when we decorate with them.”

Michelle says she has been blowing up balloons for over 17 years. In her new shop, shoppers can find almost any theme balloon they are looking for, from Birthdays, Get Well, Sports, Unicorns, Mermaids, and much, much more! Alamo Balloons offers pick-up service, delivery, and custom decor. Need a backdrop? They’ve got that too! For more information on Alamo Balloons, visit the website at Alamoballoons.com or call 210-853-2256.
